Liquid Transition in After Effects

Starting with shape layers, we use a combination of roughen edges, turbulent displace, and simple choker effects to achieve the liquid look. The key is layering multiple effects to create depth and realism.

We show how to apply the liquid transition technique to real UI mockups, creating transitions between app screens that feel organic and premium. These animations can be exported as Lottie files for implementation.
