Custom Software Development in Lahore, Pakistan
Nexentra Solutions builds custom software around how a business actually works: platforms, internal systems, dashboards and integrations, designed and engineered end to end and maintained after launch.
- Platform builds
- Integrations
- Dashboards
- APIs
When is custom software the right choice?
Off-the-shelf software is usually the cheaper start, and we'll say so when it fits. Custom software makes sense when a business has workflows no product supports well, needs several systems to work as one, or is building something that is itself the product, such as a marketplace or a platform.
| Situation | Usually better | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A standard process (accounting, email, basic CRM) | Off-the-shelf | Mature products already do it well |
| Several tools that don't talk to each other | Integrations or a custom layer | The value is in connecting what you already have |
| A workflow that is how you compete | Custom | A generic tool forces you into its process |
| A platform or marketplace you sell | Custom | The software is the product |
What we build
- Platforms and marketplaces with accounts, roles, search, messaging and payments
- Internal systems that replace spreadsheets and copy-paste between tools
- Dashboards and reporting built on data from the systems a business already runs
- Integrations and APIs that connect CRMs, payment providers, analytics and other services
- Admin panels and CMSs so a team can manage content and data without a developer
The engineering underneath follows our web development and backend practice: tested APIs, authentication and roles, monitoring and a deployment pipeline from the first release.
How a custom project runs
Every project starts with discovery: the workflows, the people who use them, the systems involved and what success looks like. The result is a scope and a first release small enough to ship quickly and learn from. The full sequence is in how we take a product from idea to launch.
After launch the software keeps changing with the business, so we plan for that from the start: documentation, a codebase another team could pick up, and support once it's live.
Platforms the team has built
People on the Nexentra team built these before joining Nexentra. PlatformCore brings social scheduling, analytics dashboards and live chat into one product for small businesses. Maker's Row is a B2B marketplace where brands search for American manufacturers; search is the product explains why. Roundhere runs live workshops, content libraries and community spaces. Relysia combines a self-custody Bitcoin wallet with wallet APIs for developers. Elytra Studios has a custom CMS the studio runs without a developer. These are team experience, not Nexentra client engagements.
What affects the cost of custom software?
There's no fixed price. The main factors are:
- how many user roles and workflows the first release needs
- how many other systems it has to integrate with, and how good their APIs are
- data migration from the tools it replaces
- security, compliance and audit requirements
- whether we also design it, and how much support is needed after launch
A focused first release is the sensible start: it proves the idea with real users before the larger build.
Starting a project
If a spreadsheet, a workaround or a missing tool is slowing your team down, tell us about it. The first conversation is about the workflow, not the technology.
