The brief

From local farms to doorsteps in Islamabad and Rawalpindi

01

The challenge

In Pakistani cities, fresh produce passes through several middlemen before it reaches a shop. Farmers earn less, buyers pay more and food loses freshness on the way. Households and businesses in Islamabad and Rawalpindi had no direct, dependable way to order fruit, vegetables, poultry and organic products from farms.

02

The solution

The team built a mobile app that connects local producers with buyers: a catalogue of seasonal produce, organic honey, eggs, meat and more, with clear pricing, search and filters, and one-tap reordering. Push notifications and SMS alerts cover deals, restocks and delivery status. One set of cart logic handles household orders and bulk orders from restaurants, hotels and shops.

03

What was delivered

A production grocery app with browsing, search and catalogue screens, product details and daily deals, order history and one-tap reordering, a cart that persists between sessions, push and SMS notifications, delivery tracking, and order handling for both B2C and B2B buyers.
