The brief

A video-first learning app for students and creators

Wow Learn app screens

01

The challenge

Many learning platforms feel static. Students lose interest in text-heavy content, creators lack ways to reach learners directly, and education apps often struggle to stay stable across devices, languages and network conditions.

02

The solution

The team built a cross-platform React Native app for video-first, community-driven learning. A hybrid architecture combines native screens with WebView content, JWT authentication with refresh tokens, OneSignal push notifications and Datadog monitoring, so users can move between lessons, live streams, community features and commerce in one app.

03

What was delivered

A production iOS and Android app with secure authentication, multilingual support, deep linking, separate staging and production builds, crash and performance monitoring, and a maintainable codebase that can grow with new features.

How it was built

From first brief to production.

How this build was organised: 4 stages, each with its own hand-off.
  1. 01

    Discover & Define

  3. 03

    Develop & Build

Built the React Native codebase with native modules, secure authentication and hybrid WebView screens.

  4. 04

    Deploy & Support

Shipped staging and production builds with Datadog monitoring, crash reporting and ongoing release management.
